...first designed in 1986 in Business Filevision format to keep trak of C-Band satellite channels and their uses.
...i live on a mountaintop overlooking a lake in the south-central Texas hill country west of Austin.
..cain't git no cable tv or newspaper delivery out here...so i de-pend muchly on my satcom dishes to monitor the weirdness of the mainstream whirl...
...so here it is, in Hypercard style, available free for your personal use and, if you wish, for your own custom modifications. Njoi.

...first, best wishes to Bill Atkinson for Hypercard & to John Scully & Apple for bundling Hypercard and thereby insuring broad distribution of this very special hack........(too bad it got stuck with such an uninspired name that sounds like a hard drive or an accelerator)...more best wishes to Steve & Woz for producing Apple for the rest of us...and to everyone who had any role in the fact that this fantastic machine and its intelligent code await my commands...
My Wish List is
...to add more satellites
...to add buttons to each channel for storing special audio configurations and audio services (probable)
...to add some way to show channel polarities (yeah)
...to rebuild the channel pages so that the "tab"key sequences the fields in the same order as the fields are displayed (don't hold your breath)
..to add K-band transponders (maybe)
...to add channel hi-lighting when selecting specific types of programming (hmm)
...and, ultimately, to add a serial driver and infrared communicator (from Woz?)so that i can pre-program my satcom dish and tuner to match my vcr schedule(wow)

...this is a place for each user to store Hints or notes or absolutely nothing.
...for example, you can use the "TRAK" field to store your actual dish-actuator positions for each satellite.
